In a strategic move aimed to reach every customer needs, Uganda Baati the leading manufacturer and supplier of building solutions has launched an E-commerce platform aimed at delivering customers’ needs and services in the comfort of their homes.
The online platform will enable clients to order for the right roofing of their choice and have it delivered to their preferred location without taking a trip to the roofing hardware as is the tradition.
The Marketing Manager Uganda Baati Limited Macklean Kukunda said the innovation will enable them to service their customers needs from anywhere and at anytime.
“We pride ourselves in investing heavily in innovations that ultimately offer superior customer value. Our e-commerce platform will enable our customers to conveniently shop, order and have their products delivered,” she said.
“You can order and pay via mobile money, bank or Visa cards and have your roofing materials delivered to you,” she added.
The innovation comes after Uganda Baati recognized that customers like to purchase products in the convenience of their homes, which led to the innovation where products are now in the hands of the customer.
With this new innovation, Uganda Baati Limited will continue to defend its over 50-year market leadership by boosting the construction industry through innovations that are designed to grow not only the steel and roofing industry, but the construction sector at large by putting the needs of their customers first.
Uganda Baati Limited celebrated 60 years of championing excellence in the Building Solutions industry with the launch of Safal Uganda Baati Foundation.
Uganda Baati CEO George Arodi said, “Our 60-year journey has been proof of the power of resilience, innovation, and a commitment to our customers and the communities we serve. Uganda Baati has evolved from a roof sheets company into a comprehensive building solutions provider, meeting the diverse needs of Uganda’s construction industry. This transformation has been driven by our dedication to quality and our vision of supporting Uganda’s development.”
“Since its founding in 1964 as Steel Works Company in Tororo, Uganda Baati has played a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure of Uganda.
