KACITA, FUTA LEADERS IN STATE HOUSE CASH SCANDAL

Thousands of traders have accused Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) together with Federation of Traders Association (FUTA) leaders of gruesome corruption that is anticipated to bring the two prominent traders associations to collapse.

According to documents seen by this website John Kabanda, Dr Tadius Musoke, Moses Lwegaba and Abel Mwesigwa both signed millions of cash secretly in State House meeting with mission to abandon traders advocacy each signed
shs 150million.

“It is with deep disappointment that several prominent trade leaders visited state House instead of presenting our demands for action they instead were comprised with financial support to abandon their roles. We trusted these leaders to represent the interest of traders and address pressing challenges facing the business community butbwe are disappointed that they compromised their integrity by accepting financial compromise and sidelined issues affecting traders, “key trader who requested his name to remain anonymous said.

“This act of comprise is significant set back to our collective efforts to bring about positive change,” he added.
Efforts to reach the above culprits were in futile as their phones we off.

KACITA is a business support association in Uganda, established and registered in 2001. It was re-registered in 2009 as KACITA – Uganda in the mandate to cover the whole country. The main aim is to facilitate trade, bring together the business community, and mobilize them into a viable, organized and social sustainable market place.
