NCHE ACCREDITS VICTORIA UNIVERSITY PHARMACY COURSE

In a drive to make Uganda’s university programmes relevant in the job market , National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) has finally accredited Victoria University Bachelor of Pharmacy Programme, making VU the sixth accredited institution in Uganda to offer this distinguished program.

The accreditation came after experts from the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda (PSU) and NCHE carried out a joint inspection and verification exercise at the University to ascertain its credibility in running this programme.

During the inspection NCHE and PSU team found world-class standard of the laboratory, modern equipment and highly skilled lecturers available hence accreditation.

“We are thrilled to announce that Victoria University’s Bachelor of Pharmacy program has been accredited, making us the sixth university in Uganda to offer this distinguished program. This accreditation reaffirms our commitment to providing a top-tier health science education and equipping future pharmacists for successful careers with the support of a state-of-the-art Pharmacy Laboratory,” VU said in a post via its official X handle, formerly known as Twitter.

“We extend our gratitude to the National Council for Higher Education and the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda for their roles in achieving this milestone. We invite prospective students to register and join us in advancing their careers,” the post adds
