As the saying goes No one is perfect even the most holy men of God are not perfect.

Latest development from security operatives indicates that Senior Pastor of Mutundwe Christian Fellowship Church based in Kampala is involved in money laundering scandal worth billions.

Although details of the scandal has been kept top secret we anticipate this will weigh down the man of God.

Mugerwa however believes that the presence of the Holy Spirit will rescue him out of danger.

“It is impossible to live and serve the Lord effectively without relying on the Holy Spirit. The work of the demons is to destroy, but the work of the Holy Spirit is to create nothing much can happen,”Mugerwa stressed

According to Pastor Mugerwa, the mindset on the flesh is hostile toward God, and a natural person cannot understand the things of God because they are beyond the scope of the mind.

According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the estimated amount of money laundered annually is 2-5% of the global GDP, or $800 billion – $2 trillion while Illicit financial flows (IFFs) cost Africa around US$88.6 billion per year.

Denis Kugonza Kateba Commissioner for Tax Investigation in URA says whereas there are no reports on the actual impact of Money Laundering, the African continent is estimated to be losing $50 billion annually,65% of which is lost through commercial transactions which have a direct impact on revenue collection. The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) reports indicate that Sub-Saharan countries mobilize less than 17% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in tax revenues below 20% considered necessary by the UN to achieve Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
