WILL PRESIDENT YOWERI MUSEVENI GARN MAJORITY VOTES IN 2026 AS NRM PARTY UP DATES THE REGISTER??

National Resistance Movement has confirmed that President Yoweri Museveni will contest once again for the countrys highest office after ruling for almost 40 years.

The ground breaking announcement was revealed by Senior Political Advisor and Office of the National Chairman Manager, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo during a training session for ONC Coordinators, NRM District Chairpersons, and registrars.

Hajjat Namyalo has urged party die hards to fully support President Museveni’s bid for re-election come 2026 and emphasized the importance of honesty in the registration process.

With this confirmation, the public can now prepare for a historic campaign and election in 2026, as President Museveni seeks to continue his service to the nation.

National Vice Chairman of NRM, Alhaji Moses Kigongo has also reassured the nation that President Yoweri Museveni will be on the ballot in the upcoming 2026 elections and will win massively. He urged all NRM members to rally behind the President and work towards his re-election.

As we wait what will unfold, President Yoweri Museveni has launched Nrm partys register update and member registration.

But will President Yoweri Museveni garn the same votes he previously got remains the question.

Currently thousands of Nrm big wigs have crossed to support Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s People’s League of Uganda formerly MK Movement afaction of Nrm pushing for First Son to replace President Yoweri Museveni as next President of the Republic of Uganda.

Who will carry the day as politics take centre stage ahead of 2026 elections.

National Unity Platform (NUP) Party President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, Hon Odonga Otoa, Forum for Democratic Change Amuriat, Elias Lukwago, Nandala Mafabi and Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s among others

National Resistance Movement is a social-democratic liberation movement, it is a product of the protracted struggles of the people of Uganda stretching from the days of Uganda’s anti-colonial struggles and other subsequent activities of freedom fighters, which always aimed at fighting injustice and exploitation.

The National Resistance Movement waged and won a protracted people’s war in a record time of five years.

The NRM has since 1986 consolidated the people’s victory and used it to embark on massive recovery and transformation of Uganda’s socio-economic landscape.
